tickling - NFS just inspiration

ACEO cards have been around for some years - there is a big following for them on Ebay, EBSQ and ETSY. They are 2.5 x 3.5 inches - often on watercolor paper. I am gearing up for a new life of doing them as well as my 9 x12 and 28 x 30 inch paintings on baltic birch. ACEO means Art Cards, Editions and Originals.
I spent a week re emmersing myself in ACEO land and came out the other side re committing to my mini pins, magnets and pendants.

Trees in october

A did a better photo in the sun the next day after I painted this little darling. I started the sketch about a week ago. When it was first begun there were still yellow leaves on the maple outside my window. Yesterday most were blowing off in the wind. I had to pretend a tiny bit. I have been sitting by this window looking out for my twelfth year now. (not constantly).
